What is a virtual stock exchange?

A virtual stock exchange is a simulated stock trading environment based on real stock market data. Trading on a virtual stock exchange is just like trading on the real stock exchange only without the risk, as no real money changes hands. On Vvestor™, you can manage a virtual stock portfolio with a virtual cash budget of up to $100,000 per day, testing new strategies and learning new tactics to strengthen and build investing skills that you can then transfer to a real-world market environment.

Virtual Trading:

Vvestor™ facilitates virtual stock trading.

We rely on delayed stock market quotes and allow our members to submit a virtual trade transaction and track it through our system.

Our system does not trade stocks on the stock exchanges. Our mission is to help the private investor to become a more intelligent investor. Investors can learn how to pick stocks by checking stock that were picked by other members and sharing stock information between members in our community.

While members of our virtual stock exchange do not own stock, they do own virtual stocks in their virtual stock portfolios. To make sure that that all investors are treated equally without one investor having an advantage, we created a set of special rules to be used while trading on Vvestor™.

Virtual Stock trading is easy:

Vvestor™ uses delayed quote data information that is approximately 20 minutes delayed from the actual market price.

To allow a fair chance and full control of the virtual order price value, Vvestor™ will allow its member to buy and sell stocks by looking at the current stock price and setting a high and low limit to the price.

Vvestor™ will check the price approximately 20 minutes from the time a member submits the order to see the price is within the high and low limits that was set at the time of the order. If no limits were set the stock may be bought or sold at the then-current market price.
